Mrs. Jennifer Berry was born and raised in Statesboro, a small town with a population of a little over 29,000, located in SE Georgia. After graduating High School, Jennifer knew she wanted to do something no one had ever done in her family, join the United States Army. Directly after graduating high school, she enlisted as a Motor Transport Operator (88M), attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Leonard Wood, MO., and proceeded to Advanced Individual Training (AIT), at Fort Leonard Wood, MO., as well. After multiple deployments in support of Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom, Jennifer experienced an unexpected illness, which resulted in retirement in 2009. 

Jennifer holds an Associate of Applied Science in Chemical Dependency, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and is currently in the final stages of pursuing a Master of Science in Community Counseling. She is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Jennifer recently started to pursue a second Master’s, Master of Social Work. 

Jennifer is an avid community supporter in activities such as March of Dimes, Race for the Cure and Heart Walk. She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (PHA), Order of Golden Circle, Order of the Guild, Heroines of Jericho, Psi Chi (an International Honor Society in Psychology), and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Jennifer is also the brainchild of She S.E.R.V.E.D Inc, (EST.2014) and the owner and operator of Pretty Girls Glam Boutique, LLC. (Est. 2015).

Jennifer’s personal mission statement: to become a dynamic leader, a woman of substance with no mediocrity. It is my goal to change my environment globally. She’s currently a full-time student and Social Media Influencer for Glammed By Jaye, and Podcast Host for Good Melanin Morning.
